How it started....
The idea for this event took root last summer as I journeyed through my own spiritual growth. On the way back from Rabbi Ezray’s mother’s funeral, I felt deeply inspired by the impact she had on the world. Riding in the car with Rabbi Ilana, this idea was born—a gathering where women can come together, just as we are, and let ourselves experience the moment fully.
This evening is an opportunity to laugh, listen, and feel—to connect in the moment and experience in our hearts whatever unfolds genuinely. It’s a chance to set aside the endless to-dos and simply be.
Here’s what you can look forward to:
Food & Wine: We’ll share some delicious food and wine. If you feel inspired, bring a dairy or vegetarian dish to share—but no pressure at all!
Learning with Rabbi Ilana: If you haven’t yet experienced her teaching, you’re in for something truly special.
Creative Expression: We’ll explore our thoughts through painting or another form of art. Before you say, “But I’m not an artist,” know that neither am I! My stick figures are barely recognizable, and my kids love to laugh at them. But this isn’t about the outcome—it’s about the process. Yes, I know it’s a cliché, but what the heck, let’s experience this cliché together.
Cost: While we want everyone to join regardless of financial ability, this event does stretch our budget. We ask for a donation between $18–$118, but you’re welcome to leave it blank when you sign up if needed.
