Here are some impactful organizations with which we have meaningful relationships.
-
United Hatzalah — helps get medical help to those in need. United Hatzalah is the key organization with whom CBJ is working this year. We are in the midst of a $123k campaign to get United Hatzalah a new Ambucycle and Ambucar. Your donation goes twice as far with anonymous donors matching up to $36,000 of our campaign, now included on the donation thermometer. Thank you so much to our congregation for your incredible generosity; we're almost there!
-
Jewish National Fund, jnf.org/supportisrael — supports numerous cities under siege in the south and through whom we can support our friends at ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran, the amazing rehabilitation village offering unparalleled care for people with severe disabilities. ADI Negev is near the battle zone. We have heard from our friends there that everyone is okay although many who are there have lost beloved family and friends.
-
Jewish Community Federation Emergency Fund — The Jewish Federations of North America's emergency fund to support victims of terror and help rebuild damaged infrastructure.
-
IsraAID Emergency Fund — provides psychosocial support, stress relief activities, and relief supplies for victims of the attacks in the south of Israel.
-
Magen David Adom — donations for rescue units
In addition to the places we ask you to donate, please consider donating to Rabbi Ezray's Discretionary Fund. Several of our congregants have reached out to tell us about initiatives they are part of to help residents and soldiers. For example, one congregant, Oshri Afanzar is helping his reserve unit collect coats and other essential equipment that they desperately need. If you want to support initiatives like these use our website's donate page, select RABBI EZRAY DISCRETIONARY from the Type dropdown menu, and in the box marked Payment Notes write: “Israel Emergency Needs” — he will be sure that it gets to the right place!
