Mini Mission Mitzvah is a day-long regional event for 9th- 12th Graders that focuses on community service and our SATO initiative. This is an opportunity for our teens to not only connect with each other, but to make a difference for others. The day includes participation in 3-4 hands on projects. Each year a different location is chosen. This event always takes place on the Sunday of MLK weekend – this year it will take place at Congregation Beth Ami in Santa Rosa on Jan. 20th. The day concludes with a yummy dinner.
This regional event is designed for chapters to attend together. Many of our congregations have community service programs as part of MLK weekend, and this is specifically organized as an opportunity to engage teen members.
