Chanting is an approach to spiritual practice that combines music and meditation. It’s common to take a phrase, from Tanakh or from the Siddur, and sing it to a simple melody, over and over until it enters our subconscious. Rabbi Jen Clayman has over two decades of experience in Jewish education and communal life. She teaches Jewish studies at Hausner, and serves on the Talmud Circle faculty for Lehrhaus.
