Blood Drive

Do a Mitzvah and SAVE A LIFE:  Donate blood at the Annual CBJ Blood Drive!

The Stanford Blood Center Bloodmobile is coming to Congregation Beth Jacob

Sunday, June 14, 11am-3pm

Blood Drives are considered essential healthcare and are permitted during all Shelter in Place orders.  Donors are not only allowed, but encouraged, to travel from their homes for the purposes of donating blood.

As elective procedures resume at local hospitals, the need for blood has steadily increased, with an expected surge over the long weekend.  We will need support from our local donors throughout the Summer as we move toward more “normal” daily routines.

Stanford Blood Center is committed to the health and safety of our donors, staff and volunteers.  Several changes have been made to blood drive operations to allow for social distancing and extra sanitization procedures.  In addition, anyone attending the blood drive must wear a mask or facial covering.
