Biography
Hooman Khalili was born in Iran and escaped with his mother to the US when he was three. He grew up in San Mateo, California, where he and his mother were taken in by the Presbyterian church.
For the past 20 years, he has been a successful media personality on the radio, content creator, and he has interviewed many well-known celebrities including Harrison Ford, George Lucas, Nancy Pelosi, John Travolta, Hunter S. Thompson, and Sting.
As an artist and producer, Hooman began creating murals in Israel in January 2023 to give voice to Iranian women freedom fighters. He has praised the state of Israel for being the only country in the Middle East to stand with these freedom-fighting women of Iran.
Hooman has completed nine murals in Israel and two in the US, most recently one in Berkeley to celebrate International Women's Day. His latest murals feature Shirel Haim Pour, a Persian Jew killed by Hamas on October 7th. Hooman reminds the world that Hamas is a proxy of the Iranian Islamic Regime.
Hooman has a deep connection to the land of Israel, having visited ten times in the past year, including four trips since the war started. He also traveled in November to Geneva to protest the UN’s inclusion of Iran as the head of the human rights commission and stood with families in support of the return of Israel’s hostages from Gaza.
