Our Elul Day of Learning culminates in a participatory concert with Eliana Light. Building on the Yearning & Returning: Text & Song study session in the afternoon, join us for the evening concert to bask in the blending of words and melodies, and the joy of singing together. Eliana Light at CBJ is made possible by the Cantor Cohn Music Fund. 

Eliana writes, "Elul is here. We are invited to reflect, connect, and return to what matters. What matters to me now, is singing with you. Songs can help us reach backwards, to our spiritual ancestors, around, to our community, inward, to that still, small voice, and outward, to that which is greater than ourselves alone. By reaching in these directions, let us remember how interconnected we truly are. Perhaps we can find support, comfort, and strength because our souls yearn to be heard, to be seen. As we raise our voices in song, let us be brave enough to soften our hearts, and sing our true selves.
