A big part of our work over the last few years has been aimed at building community at CBJ. To that end we have created different types of gatherings to facilitate our ability to build deeper relationships with each other– across all demographic and age groups.
Learning comes home
Our Neighborhood Learning continues. Our clergy will be holding their final study sessions for this year.
The topics are: ‘Sex in Jewish Law and Tradition’ (Bill), ‘Is Abortion Permitted in Jewish Law?’ (Rabbi Ilana), and ‘Jewish Perspectives on the Death Penalty’ (Rabbi Ezray).
Our final Brunch and Learn session will take place on March 26th.

Shabbat Dinner with our Clergy
Our clergy are once again inviting congregants to share Shabbat dinner with their families.
You may sign up for ONE dinner. If you participated last fall please allow others the opportunity this time.
Shabbat Dinner with Bill and Michelle Futornick on Friday March 10th.
Shabbat Dinner with Cantor Barbara and Rob Powell on Friday June 9th.
Bring CBJ Home
Several times per year we ask congregants to open their homes for Shabbat dinner, Havdallah or Sunday brunch.
If you are interested in meeting your CBJ neighbors, ask us how you can attend or host one of these gatherings.
